I want to say thank you to all of our customers over the last year the best way I know how, with wooden toys! I want to express to you my deep appreciation for all of the support. I know that you all love your toys so much, while I enjoyed making them for you. But the monetary support has been vital to this little family in Missouri and for that you have my deepest gratitude. I am proud to announce that my husband passed his master's project just yesterday. It hasn't been easy since he lost his job last December but we don't focus on that. It's been so rewarding making the ends meet making toys for all of you! My heart is full. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Since I am only one woman with only two hands; though I often wonder how awesome it would be to have more than two, I have only a few things to giveaway. If I was able I would make gifts for each and every customer. I promise I can get this set to the winner by solstice if you are in the US. If you are out of the country then you may not get it in time, but you will surely have it for next year :) So this giveaway is open to everybody.
To enter just leave a comment here. Make sure that I have a way to contact you. We will draw a name on Wednesday, December 16th.
We are giving away the beautiful solstice candle holder, little Tomten and the walnut rolling pin. I will also send along a candle.
I will also be part of a contest at Jump Into A Book next week so be sure to enter there as well.
I hope you are all having a magical December! St. Nicholas Day was a fun start to all the magic that my children just can get enough of. I so wanted to make them each something for St. Nick's Day, but then they would know it was from me. So I purchased them little wooden critters from Osteimer. A little magpie for Tobin because he is my little treasure seeker; finding all things shiny. For Lucas a little woodchuck for his love of all things rodent. Oh the magic of little tags that say "made in Germany."
Happy Holidays to each of you! Wishing you all the best. Much love and gratitude from the Kopp family.

Oh we would love this. Thanks for a great giveaway.

You have no idea just how much your fantastic (and very safe and lovingly made) toys mean to us. We play so often with our wooden animals and talk about how "Ms Lorilee" made them special for us! They are fantastic imagination builders, great learning toys, conversations/story starters and just plain fun to play with!
Ps- I also love those trees-- in the spring we will probably need a bird (squirrel and of course our bat) tree :)-- love that spalted maple!
(posted this on your Facebook page as well)

Congratulations to your husband! And you say that you only have two hands but I am constantly amazed by the volume and quality of work you produce, in addition to your homeschooling, your blog, and I'm sure you do a million other things as well. :)

Heather Lee, Mel at www.haddy2dogs.etsy.com made that! She is incredible! It is Mrs. Thaw from the book Ollie's Ski Trip by Elsa Beskow.
Congrats on your scroll saw and wood!!! What fun! I can't wait to see pictures :)
Also, thanks to everyone for all your beautiful words of praise. My heart is melting!!! WOW! If it weren't for you, I would be idle in my work, so thanks for keeping me working and learning and growing!

Congrats on your husbands degree! I love everything you make and wish I could afford to buy out your shop. I can't wait to see my little girl's face when she opens her Henkes mouse set. I'll send pictures of what I've made to go along with the dragon. You have inspired me. Someone gave me a scroll saw and I just recieved my first package of wood yesterday and can't wait to begin. By the way, who made the felted wool set in the picture, looks like a mother with two children tucked under her cape? Beautiful.

You are so very sweet, am sitting here laughing at the thought of you struggling to restrain yourself from giving away toys. We love your creations so much, and look forward to buying more some day soon - the toys are all beautiful (never doubt that you deserve the support, either). xxx

Thank you for having this very fantastic giveaway. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Congrats to your husband, I remember what that felt like to have finally achieved that goal, both my husband and I did our Masters in Springfield, MO. It was a great time in our lives. Thanks again.
